The Care Calendar 2016.

The program intervention SAKCHAM in Nepal as part of the framework program „Claiming Rights – Promoting Gender Equality: Women‘s Empowerment and male engagement for gender transformation in post-conflict and chronically food-insecure settings” is financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation and implemented in the Churia region. This project continues working with already established Solidarity Groups at the village level. Poor, disadvantaged and socially excluded women benefit directly from this project while men and children as well as civil society organizations indirectly benefit from it. The main goal of the proposed program intervention is „to empower women and enable them politically, socially, culturally and economically to exercise and enjoy their rights.“
