Early Retrospective – Behind the Exhibition
An early work show with photographs from the past 15 years
Almost 20 years of independent creative work in design & photography. Already more than 15 years of discovering street and reportage photography. Almost to the day 10 years of photography with the Leica M Monochrom and finally another personal anniversary were reason enough for me to show my journey so far in an early work show in the form of a large exhibition with over 130 photographs. A personally summarized smorgasbord of my milestones and experiences around the world.
From an archive with more than 250,000 digital negatives, many hundreds of analog now to create such a selection is bien sûr no easy task. Many more I would have liked to show, but the focus on the essential is not only in my photography the core of my work, as well as in the presentation, the selection of the same.
The exhibition Early Retrospective will take place from 29 May to 11 June 2023 at the Gotischer Kasten of my hometown Eggenfelden.
