What a year…

I actually thought that my personal year 2023 was rather modest, or rather reserved, from a photographic perspective. The numerous projects such as my large exhibition and retrospective “Early Retrospective”, as well as the preparation and implementation of my first MEISTERclass workshops for Leica, actually gave me the feeling that I hadn’t really photographed much new and that I hadn’t traveled much… but after a quick glance through my photographs, I was able to see how one can be mistaken…

Photographic trips were by no means left behind, mixed with modest destinations such as Graz, Salzburg, Munich or Konstanz and also other, longer excursions such as Lisbon, London, Venice or Normandy, life on the road offered me some great moments. In addition, there were also some no less exciting commissioned works for friendly brands, which all in all allows to honestly conclude that 2023 was a great photographic year.
