Experience Thailand from Vienna to Bangkok.
A photography reportage is coming home – parallel to the premiere at the Weltmuseum in Vienna, the exhibition “Experience Thailand”, my reportage about the refugees in northern Thailand, now came back to Thailand to the Bangkok Art & Culture Center. Since the two exhibitions took place simultaneously, a second set of selected fine art prints was specially made for the BACC in Bangkok. The fine art prints made at BLACK BOX GALLERY® in Germany were framed under my supervision in Bangkok before being placed on the walls of the BACC for three months.
Together with CARE Austria and RAKS Thailand, the successful exhibition of the refugees in the north of Thailand could now be shown at the BACC in Bangkok. On a complete floor in Bangkok’s largest public house of art & culture, the full photography exhibition will be shown for two months.
The opening was inferior to the gala evening in the Weltmuseum Wien in no way . With a musical supporting program of the Austrian-Thai cultures and together with the Austrian ambassador Dr. Eva Hager and CARE Ceo Dr. Andrea Barschdorf-Hager opened a great vernissage.
