The Magic of Color.

When talked about photography, you sometimes hear the phrase “painting with light”. I think none of my previous photographic work comes closer to this description than this collection of color photographs of the Festival of Lights at the Lichtlberger Wald with its Lichtwald forest cemetery. The magic of these intense colors that transform the forest into a surreal world makes it easy to understand why this is one of the few works that I had to photograph in color.
